Convulex 500mg Tablet ER is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
SAFE
Convulex 500mg Tablet ER is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.
Convulex 500mg Tablet ER may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.
Convulex 500mg Tablet ER is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Convulex 500mg Tablet ER may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
CAUTION
Convulex 500mg Tablet ER should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Convulex 500mg Tablet ER may be needed. Please consult your doctor.Use of Convulex 500mg Tablet ER is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

How to use Convulex Tablet ER
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Convulex 500mg Tablet ER is to be taken with food.

Convulex 500mg Tablet ER is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Common Loss of appetite, Nausea, Vomiting, Sleepiness, Hair loss, Liver function abnormal, Weight gain, Tremor.
